Open to ALL UNA Education Major Graduates & Alumni

The University of North Alabama will be hosting our Education Recruitment Day on Tuesday, April 7, 2009. This event will be open to UNA Education major seniors and graduates. The event will allow candidates and recruiters an opportunity to dialogue and conduct and participate in interviews.

The University of North Alabama has been in the business of training teachers since 1872. Through its departments, the College of Education offers programs leading to the Education Specialist (Education Administration only), Master's and Bachelor's degrees, and Alabama Class AA (Educational Administration only), Class B, and Class A certificates for school personnel.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to the current state of proration in many areas, we have decided to waive our usual registration fee and offer this event free of charge. We hope this will allow you the opportunity to use your limited funds to travel to Florence. There will be a light lunch provided as a token of our appreciation for your recruitment of our students.

Following is the schedule for the day:

  • 9:00 a.m. - School System check in
  • 10:00 a.m. - Education Recruitment Day begins
  • 11:30 a.m. - Interviews begin
