What services do you offer?

  • Free listings for part-time, internship, cooperative education, and full-time job opportunities
  • A Career Resource Library that contains recruiting literature, annual reports, and company videos
  • Cooperative Education Program
  • Mock Interview Program
  • A partnership with Symplicity that gives you an an opportunity to connect with students and view résumés online through our Career Planning and Development Symplicity Registration System (you can also list positions at no charge by setting up an account)
  • An extensive on-campus recruitment/interviewing program for you to recruit students and alumni/ae for a wide variety of cooperative education, internship, and employment opportunities
  • Numerous events including our Fall Career Fair, the North Alabama Connection: Professional Employment Day (NACPED), Graduate and Professional School Fairs, and our Education Recruitment Day

When should I register with Career Planning and Development?

Employers are welcome to register with Career Planning and Development at any time. There is no charge to establish an account, simply create a unique username and password to log in.


Why should I register with Career Planning and Development?

When you register, your contact information is placed in a database that is used to contact employers about upcoming events. You will also have direct online access to student profiles and résumés and you may post all job listings for free.


Do I have to be registered with Career Planning and Development to use the resources available?

Only for some. However, registering will give you increased access to students and help students find out about your organization and available careers.

In addition, if you would like to schedule any follow-up interviews or recruitment, feel free to call our office and/or use our online form.
